The Mall and Carrefour

I’ve spent more time at malls in a week and a half in the Middle East than I do in a month and a half in the States. I went there today to check out Carrefour. We will most likely do a lot of our shopping at smaller neighborhood stores near where we will live. This is all the way on the other side of town (4JD $5.60 cab ride one-way). But, when there’s something we need and can’t find in a small store or at the market then it’s nice to know we can make the pilgrimage. Or if we just need to hit some American fast food in the foodcourt. Or stop at Applebee’s or Fuddrucker’s on the way over. Did I mention this is in the rich part of town?

Be sure to check out the funny sign on the escalator. If you click on photos in the galleries you should be able to see any descriptions and a slightly bigger pic.
