You may or may not be looking for a source of information on Palestine that digs deeper than all the rhetoric we hear in the media. If such a source would be of interest to you then you should investigate This Week In Palestine.
The name is a bit of a misnomer, as TWIP is published monthly. This month’s issue (Feb 200 
tackled environmental issues in Palestine with such articles as, “Plant Biodiversity in the Palestinian Territory,” “Climate and the Bible,” “Jordan and Palestine Threatened by Global Climate Change,” and “Toward Improvement of Solid-Waste Management in Palestine” among others.
The January 2008 issue offered articles on the film industry and Palestinian cinema. December 2007, a series of day-in-the-life articles that were thought provoking. Archives go back to 1998 and articles cover such diverse topics as Art, Agriculture, Cinema, History, Modern Culture, Dance, Tourism, etc. Of course there are articles on the political situation - you cannot get 100% away from that in the Middle East.
Articles tend to be short but insightful - offering a quick behind-the-scenes glance at issues relevant to Palestine beyond just the bombs and stereotypes. Check it out when you have a moment.
